About the role
The Programme Coordinator for the School of Advanced Study is required to play a key role in the provision of student administration services to a number of key Institutes.  The postholder will be the first point of contact for both masters and research students, managing the full cycle of the research degree examination process including responding to queries and liaising with Lecturers and supervisors to ensure smooth running of the programmes.  The postholder also plays a key role in servicing various education committees, including responsibility for ensuring that decisions are made in line with Quality Assurance Regulations.

About you
As the successful candidate, you will bring sound knowledge and experience of student-facing university administration, coupled with experience of committee servicing. You have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and through different channels, particularly with potential and current students in a way which enhances their experience. 

Technically adept, you are competent in using computer programs including Microsoft Office.  Overall, proven attention to detail, your ability to effectively manage competing priorities as well as your ability to manage various situations with tact, discretion and empathy will round off your profile.
