The University of London Worldwide is responsible for the development and delivery of our distance learning programmes and is seeking to appoint one Head of New Business Services to join the Global Business Development Directorate.
The Global Business Development Directorate is responsible for the commercialisation of the University portfolio of courses and education services, the administration & support of its global network of Recognised Teaching Centres (RTC’s) and the administration and support of its Member Institutions within the London Federation of Universities.
The Head of New Business Services (NBS) is responsible for managing the implementation of the commercialisation priorities including the scoping of commercial opportunities that support the business strategy of the University, the negotiation of commercial terms with 3rd parties, and the project management of the delivery of university compliant (legal, ethical & financial) commercial partnerships.
The post requires strong negotiation skills, strategic commercial vision of the distance, blended and online service sector in a global context, a strong comprehension of the legal foundations of commercial contracting, experience of operating in an international environment, understanding of the complexity of delivering scalable business solutions.

The University currently operates a Hybrid Working framework involving a mix of working remotely and in the office. Typically, the majority of employees will be able to agree to work remotely for up to 60% of their working week, role dependent, however will be required to attend on specific days for training or team meetings.
