The University of London Careers Service (ULCS) is currently recruiting for a Careers Engagement Assistant to work with our services for distance and flexible learning students of the University of London.
The key purpose of this role is to ensure that our activities run smoothly through managing the day-to-day administration of our events programme, and our vacancy service and providing support to the Engagement Team and wider ULCS for distance and flexible learning as we embark on a period of growth. Acting as a first point of contact to the Engagement Team they will help filter enquiries to the right member of the team and play a key role in providing excellent customer service to employers, alumni, students and colleagues from the University of London.
This is an exciting opportunity for anyone wanting to take on an administrative role in a fast-paced Higher Education setting.

The Careers Group takes professional development very seriously. The Careers Group has a dedicated Professional Development Unit offering a termly programme of relevant courses.
The University of London Organisational and Staff Development Unit also runs courses covering IT skills and professional skills such as time management and giving presentations.

The University currently operates a Hybrid Working framework involving a mix of working remotely and in the office. Typically, the majority of employees will be able to agree to work remotely for up to 60% of their working week, role dependent, however will be required to attend on specific days for training or team meetings.
