We are currently recruiting a pro-active self-starter who will promote the Financial Services Department across the University and with external stakeholders. A a key member of the Financial Services Team, this role has a broad remit in assisting the Deputy Director of Finance (Financial Services) in all areas of financial accounting, controls, treasury and endowment management for the University, its trading subsidiaries and Trusts.
The successful candidate will be CCAB qualified and have extensive experience working in a financial background, using a computerised accounting system. Experience of preparing financial statements, audit, tax, treasury work and account reconciliations is essential.
A pro-active approach and a strong customer focus are necessary attributes, combined with a commitment to continual improvement.
