The Role

Applications are invited for the post of Student Recruitment Officer in the School of Advanced Study, University of London. 

The holder of this post will coordinate the planning, implementation, and evaluation of postgraduate student recruitment activities in liaison with administrative and academic colleagues under the supervision of the Head of Marketing and Communications.

As one of the UK's premier providers of postgraduate taught and research courses in the humanities, we are seeking an experienced and proactive professional to create promotional plans for each of the School’s programmes, develop innovative ways of publicising the School’s outstanding postgraduate teaching and research provision, and create an excellent journey for prospective students from first contact to enrolment. The postholder will work closely with the Head of Marketing and Communications to develop targeted marketing campaigns that meet the School's objectives. The postholder will organise recruitment and conversion events and use the University of London's CRM system to create and manage communications with prospective students. 

The successful candidate will have significant experience in student recruitment in a higher education setting (experience in postgraduate student recruiting preferred), the ability to generate high-quality marketing copy quickly and easily, the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences, and an enthusiasm for the unique mission of the School of Advanced Study.
