The Financial Services Supervisor (Property) supports the Deputy Financial Controller (Property) in running the day-to-day operations of the Financial Services Property team, providing innovative and efficient customer focused transactional processing services to the Property departments of the University, whilst maintaining a strong control environment. These departments include the University of London’s residential accommodation, conferencing and student central. The Financial Services Supervisor (Property) will also work closely with the Deputy Financial Controller to deliver the University’s and department strategy around high performance.
The successful candidate will have experience in a finance role (either commercial, higher education or public sector) with the personal qualities necessary to lead, coach and motivate a high performing team of staff who support complex and dynamic departments or activities.
Technical adept, you demonstrate high level analytical and numeracy skills that enable you to absorb information quickly and interpret large quantities of financial data. Well organised, you have the ability to work effectively in a deadline driven environment without sacrificing attention to detail and service delivery. Finally, high-level interpersonal and communication skills including a commitment to offering exceptional customer service at all times will round off your profile. You have experience of working wihtin a finance department previously and looking to study towards your ICAEW or ACCA qualificiation.
