Job Description

The University of London Careers Service (ULCS) is recruiting for an Engagement Manager for the first time to support the careers services offer to the distance and flexible learning students. 

The Engagement Manager will be responsible for developing and delivering the engagement strategy. They will build and maintain new and existing relationships for the University of London Careers Service, including with employers, students, alumni, Teaching Centres, the Development Office and other strategic partners. The Engagement Manager will be responsible for designing, delivering and evaluating the effectiveness of the ULCS student, employer and alumni engagement strategies and will work closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

This is an exciting opportunity for anyone wanting to take on a management role within an emerging, innovative Careers service. The role holder will contribute to the vision and mission of ULCS, by providing effective leadership and management of the ULCS Engagement Team.

The Engagement Manager will also work closely with the Head of Careers to develop and implement the University of London Careers Service strategy. They will be responsible for ensuring that the employer and student engagement activities are appropriate for a diverse cohort, in terms of location, programme of study, mode of study and careers stage. They will also make sure that student, alumni and employer voice informs and co-creates support for the employability development and future employment aspirations of the globally based University of London students and recent graduates.
