The Role

The Associate Director, RTC Network leads the University of London’s RTC support and development function. This role works closely with leaders across the University of London, Federation Members and RTC leaders to drive the business development and outreach to achieve enrolment growth and programme expansion. This pivotal role focuses on using data to support decisions related to identifying new programme opportunities, coordinating University support across careers, development and other UoL requirements. 

The primary objective is to establish strong relationships with the RTC network, coordinating events and communication across the University of London and its Federation Members and collaborating on strategies to increase RTC enrolment and protect UoL’s role as market leader. The post holder will establish an account management approach to support ensure a single point of contact across all of the various conversations and support requirements. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Work with Market Insights and New Business to establish a map of current markets and growth opportunities. 
  • Implement and support an account management approach to ensure growth and satisfaction among RTCs. 
  • Regularly update stakeholders (University of London Worldwide leadership, Marketing, Finance, Federation Members) on RTC performance. 
  • Stay current on evolving global consumer behaviours and trends in education, technology, and online learning and make recommendations related to impact on trends to the University of London and its Federation Members. 
  • Oversee team of account management professionals. 
  • Work with other globally focused groups to coordinate RTC inward and outward visits in support of the UoL executive team. 
  • Complete a competitive scan of other networks of RTC-type providers. 
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including academic departments, admissions, and technology teams, aligning outreach with University objectives. 
  • Collaborate with external partners as agreed, including with Federation Member planning and insight teams, Programme Directors and marketing teams to identify and coordinate new opportunities within existing RTC locations.  
  • Participate in global opportunities for speaking, outreach and publications to help extend the brand of the University of London. 
  • Prepare and deliver insightful reports and presentations for University leadership and federation member partners, spotlighting key market trends, competitive analysis, and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.  

This role works closely with the Director of Online Education, Director of Business Development, Director of Strategic Communications, Marketing and Recruitment, Director of Student Support, Director of Student Operations, Business Intelligence and Planning functions, Development, as well as Governance and Partnerships.
