The University of London
The University of London is one of the oldest and largest universities in the UK – and the most diverse. Established by Royal Charter in 1836, the University is recognised globally as a world leader in Higher Education. We are a federal institution consisting of 17 self-governing Colleges of outstanding reputation and a number of acclaimed central academic bodies. The University of London offers almost every subject covered in any University curriculum, delivering huge flexibility and choice to its students.
The Development Office
This is an exciting time for the University of London Development Office. We nurture relationships with our diverse constituencies - alumni, friends, former staff, prospects, donors, corporations and trusts and foundations - with a view to cultivating their support for the University, our Institutes and departments. Our cooperative and innovative department is seeking an outgoing and collaborative individual to join our team on a temporary basis.
The Role
As part of the central Development Office and our partnership with the Institute of Historical Research (IHR) and their Trust, this temporary appointment will be focussed on gift progressing including acknowledgements, Gift Aid tax claim and liaising with various roles in the Development office to facilitate the timely and correct processing of gifts to the IHR and IHR Trust. The role will also be asked to prepare the database for migration to our central database, including aligning the data sets with our central system, data cleaning and maintaining business processes ready for them to migrate.
You will enjoy being well organised and motivated while managing multiple priorities.
The post is part of the Development Office’s Constituency Engagement Team, and the postholder will report to the Information and Data Manager.
