Global Business Development

Global Business Development Directorate, part of University of London Worldwide (UoLW), leads on sustained growth through effective business development strategies based on close knowledge of markets and regulatory contexts, strong relationships with partners and stakeholders, the matching of a new and redeveloped portfolio of programmes with identified demand in target markets, Recognised Teaching Centre (RTC) monitoring and support, and close liaison with federation members and academic partners, including account and contract management.

The Directorate is responsible for the management of all RTC relationships and new commercial opportunities related to UoLW academic and service delivery to students and will play a key role in the management of the Teaching Centres Committee.

Associate Director, Business Development will support the Director of Global Business Development in shaping and executing the University’s TNE strategy to meet the growth targets, and provide strategic leadership for the Business Development team, with accountability for the quality, cost-efficiency, and effectiveness of expanding the Recognised Teaching Centre network, as well as managing productive relationships with online and institutional partners, governments, and sponsors.

This role works closely with a variety of stakeholders across the University of London to drive business opportunities and support the outreach plan. This pivotal role focuses on using data and intelligence to inform and craft the strategy for focused regional expansion and growth opportunities.

The postholder will lead regional teams of specialists to ensure the achievement of key performance indicators and enhance University of London brand visibility and influence globally.
