The University of London is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced academic administrator to join the Quality Team for a period of 12 months from August 2023. Working collaboratively with colleagues across the University of London and within the member institutions, this is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to provide oversight and management of the University of London’s quality assurance processes which serve to secure and enhance the quality and standards of programmes leading to the awards of the University of London. The Quality Manager (Academic) plays a key role in the smooth operation of areas such as module and programme approval and amendments, periodic programme review, monitoring, External Examiners’ reports, policy, governance and committees, and continuous enhancement projects.

The successful applicant will ideally have a good understanding of the concepts of quality and standards and their implications in addition to knowledge of current and developing issues in HE, particularly where these relate to quality assurance however full training and support will be provided.

The University currently operates a Hybrid Working framework involving a mix of working remotely and in the office. Typically, the majority of employees will be able to agree to work remotely for up to 60% of their working week, role dependent, however, will be required to attend on specific days for training or team meetings.
