The University of London is looking for Online Tutors to support the new and innovative online BSc Computer Science programmes that will be the first undergraduate programmes to be delivered by Coursera.

The University of London is accepting applications for Online Tutors to support the online BSc Computer Science programme, with academic direction from Goldsmiths.

The role
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to act as Online Tutors for the next session beginning in October 2023. The Online Tutor’s task will be to provide online support via the Coursera platform; marking coursework assignments and providing feedback to students. Each Online Tutor will be supported by a Module Leader and Programme Director and will work closely with University of London’s Programme Managers.
You would be engaged as a self-employed independent contractor and not as an employee of the University of London.
We would also like to hear from individuals interested in undertaking examination duties (these duties are arranged separately).
Candidate Profile
You will be a motivated individual who enjoys working with students and who is driven to support students to achieve success in their studies.
You will have experience working in a Higher Education Institution and have a computer science or related undergraduate qualification with good programming skills, particularly skills in JavaScript programming language.
