The University of London is seeking to appoint to a vacancy of independent member of the Board of Trustees. The successful candidate will join the Board of Trustees in summer 2023 to serve a term of office of four years, with the possibility of reappointment for a second term.

Applicants for this trustee role are expected to demonstrate proven audit and finance skills gained in the private, public, or voluntary sectors; a strong commitment to higher education; an understanding of the complexity of the political and economic context in which the University operates.
The University is particularly keen to hear from candidates who have experience of shaping long-term financial strategy in a complex organisation, supported by an accounting qualification and demonstrable experience of audit.
The University welcomes applications from individuals who do not have prior non-executive experience.
