The School of Advanced Study
The School of Advanced Study is a nationally and internationally recognised centre of excellence in the promotion and facilitation of research in the Humanities and Social Sciences. It comprises eight internationally renowned research institutes as well as centres in Digital Humanities and Public Engagement. It has four nationally and internationally recognised specialist research libraries.
The Future Leaders Fellows Development Network
The Future Leaders Fellows Development Network delivers specialised leadership training, access to networks and mentors, and collaborative opportunities, so that members can pursue world-class interdisciplinary, cross-sector research and innovation. The Network is delivered by a consortium of universities from the four nations, including the School of Advanced Study, and led by the University of Edinburgh.
The Network is available to all six cohorts of Future Leaders Fellows, as well as a group of researchers and innovators nominated by the Research Councils.
Members of the Network benefit from an exceptional range of workshops, networking opportunities, mentoring, community-building events, and one-to-one coaching with specialists.
The Role
The Knowledge Exchange Manager will support the Network’s Knowledge Exchange Lead in developing and delivering opportunities for, and training about, knowledge exchange on behalf of the FLF Development Network. The Knowledge Exchange Manager will engage with Fellows one-to-one as necessary, broker opportunities amongst a broad range of Network partners and external stakeholders, and assist in designing and delivering support and enhancement activities for the long-term development of leadership cohorts across the UK research and innovation environment.
